INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (AIR PUMP KIT SHOWN)

PART LIST: 1 – COLD AIR INTAKE TUBE 1 – FILTER

1 – REDUCER HOSE FOR 2.0L & 1.8t 1 – RUBBER ISOLATOR

1 – STRAIGHT HOSE FOR VR6 1 – M6 FLAT WASHER

3 – M6 NYLON LOCK NUT 2 – HOSE CLAMPS

1 – ¼” RUBBER GROMMET

TOOLS REQ: 1 – RATCHET 1 – 12” EXTENSION

1 – 10MM SOCKET 1 – 10MM WRENCH

1 – STANDARD SCREWDRIVER 1 – PUNCH

1 – PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER 1 – HAMMER

1 – NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS

WARNING: THIS KIT IS DESIGNED FOR DRY WEATHER USE ONLY. ENGINE DAMAGE MAY

OCCUR IF USED IN WET WEATHER CONDITIONS. IF YOU ANTICIPATE DRIVING IN WET

CONDITIONS, REMOVE THIS KIT AND RE-INSTALL THE FACTORY SYSTEM

1. Remove entire factory air box by disconnecting

Mass Air Flow meter (MAF) electrical connector,

air pump connection (if applicable), and two (2)

10mm hex mounting bolts that hold air box to

vehicle. Release MAF from rubber intake hose by

squeezing spring clamp with needle nose pliers.

2. Remove battery box by removing one (1) bolt

(10mm hex). Pull straight up to remove.

3. Remove side air duct by removing one (1) nut

(10mm hex).

4. Remove four (4) Phillips screws securing upper

air duct to core support and lift out.
